A church with an unusual outdoor staircase
Tucked into the hillside above the road, this thirteenth-century church has a distinctive battlemented tower with an unusual outside stairway.
Inside, there is Medieval and Jacobean woodwork, which was delicately restored in the nineteenth century, including a screen across the chancel arch with the inscription, 'O Lord Prepare Our Arts to Praye'.
A little window near the Watchet alabaster font contains two charming fifteenth-century stained glass figures of saints.
