High on a hill with far-reaching views
Standing high above the Medieval Court to the west of the village, the church overlooks the distant industrial sprawl of Portishead. The 12th-century tympanum is the oldest visible part, with good carved stonework throughout.
Highlights are:
- a thirteenth-century screen;
- reredos and benches; and
- a grand late 1692 monument showing the kneeling figures of Edmund Wynter and his wife

Access information
Parking on Clevedon Road or through gate (when unlocked) to parking area at top of tarmac track, just below the level of the church. Relatively steep approach. Wide tarmac path from east side through churchyard to south door. Ramp inside to the south porch, wide aisles and reasonably wide south door.

This Church is available for hire and is a unique and beautiful venue.
Due to its historic nature this church has no toilets but does have electricity and lighting.
There is limited parking.
The maximum capacity of this church is 190.
