A Shakespearean mystery

Walk in the footsteps of Shakespeare in the grounds of All Saints' Church

Legend has it that William Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway at All Saints' Church in Billesley, Warwickshire in 1582. Whilst the parish records that might provide the proof have long since perished, the intriguing story is kept alive in local tradition. All Saints' has been in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust since 1962.
